Five main dimensions were defined

The dimensions of this MM were created using four different methods, bibliometric study, exploratory literature review, systematic literature review (SLR) and content analysis. Firstly, a bibliometric study on the theme of AgTechs was performed, as shown in the work of Mendes et al. (2021), and with that, the main themes related to AgTechs were defined. Using these themes, an exploratory literature review was performed, and the main maturity models (MM) that could be useful in the development of an AgTech MM were defined. To bring agricultural concepts to the forefront of the research a SLR on modern agriculture was performed, as presented by Mendes et al. (2022). Finally, a content analysis following Bardin (2016) guidelines was done.

With that, the five theoretical dimensions that characterize our AgTech MM were defined as: Organizational Dimension, Technological Dimension, Economical Dimension, Sustainability and External Factors.
